Hand Forging demonstration... Programs for Children:
June 6: Have your child make a paper pot, then make his or her own special compost mix before planting a seed to take home and grow.
July 11: Wellie Wanging Competition. Come and try this English traditional sport and see how far you can toss a wellington boot. (It is harder than it looks)
August 1: Krafty Kids: This week come and make a wooden spoon butterfly.
August 15: Kid Food Day Bring your kids to taste farm fresh foods, Have your child hunt for the materials to make Lettuce burritos, and ants on the log, Learn about food pyramids realize that farm fresh fruits and vegetables can taste great!
September 5: Krafty Kids. This week have your child make a paper twist doll.
October 3: Fall Scarecrow making. Come down and make an old fashioned scare using straw, please bring clothing to dress up your scarecrow.
October 10: Apple Day Learn how to make apple cider, Have your child peel and slice apples and enjoy apple related games, such as Apple Bobbing, Apple bowling, Apple word scrambles,
